COVID-19: What You Should Know

We understand that people in our community are naturally concerned about COVID-19. The team at Flagler Health+ is here to meet all your healthcare needs. We have navigated through the COVID-19 pandemic together and we remain vigilant about ensuring the safety of our staff and patients. Surgeries and procedures that were once postponed are now able to be addressed. We want you to know that it is safe to do so, and our award-winning surgical team will be with you every step of the way.

Information for Employers

To support area businesses as they return to full operations, Flagler Health+ and our national technology partner, Healthfully, are now offering a COVID-19 Employer Solution. The solution helps employers, employees and customers feel confident that organizations are taking the risks related to COVID-19 seriously, limit exposures, provide real-time feedback, track status, deploy contact tracing, increase access and utilize testing in the most effective way possible. Visitors

In order to maintain the safest environment, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all patient visitation. Exceptions will be made for the most critical, extenuating circumstances and spouses/partners of Labor and Delivery patients. Permitted visitors will be screened for fever, cough and shortness of breath and will not be allowed entry if they have symptoms.

Testing

Free Drive-thru COVID-19 Testing at Flagler Hospital St. Johns County, Fl

St. Johns County and Flagler Health+ are offering free drive-thru COVID-19 testing every weekday beginning Thursday, July 9, at Flagler Hospital, 400 Health Park Blvd. The testing site will be located in Parking Lot B and will remain open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until the maximum number of daily tests are collected. Testing is available for all ages, and patients do not need to exhibit symptoms, possess a doctor’s note, or make an appointment. A parent or guardian must be present for children under 18 to be tested. While insurance cards are not needed, a photo ID is required. “Due to the funds recently received by the CARES Act, we are now able to offer this testing at no charge to our community,” said Hunter Conrad, St. Johns County Administrator. “We’re grateful for our partnership with Flagler Health+ in providing this service, and hopeful the increased testing will help us all continue making the best health and wellness decisions for ourselves and our families.” Results will be provided via telephone within seven to ten days. The testing site is being funded through the CARES Act. To expedite the process, patients are encouraged to pre-register by downloading the Flagler Health+ Anywhere app, accepting the terms and conditions, clicking on “See a Provider”, and selecting the laboratory icon. Patients can then virtually “get in line” for the drive-thru test site. “We are pleased to partner with St. Johns County to broaden testing availability for our area’s residents,” stated Flagler Health+ President and CEO Jason Barrett. “The ongoing collaboration we continue to enjoy with our county government and other agencies truly sets our community apart. Although these are troubling and challenging times, we are well prepared, sufficiently resourced and here to support you as we navigate through this pandemic, together.” For more information, please call the St. Johns County Citizens Information Hotline at 904.824.5550.

See a Doctor Online

If you are having mild cold, flu or allergy symptoms, call your primary care doctor or urgent care center before leaving your home or office. Please note that COVID-19 testing requires a doctor’s order. If you do not feel comfortable calling or cannot see your regular provider, you can see a doctor online from the comfort of your own home. Flagler Health+ is offering a discounted rate of $25 for an online doctor visit. You can download our Flagler Health+ Anywhere app in the app store or Google Play, or visit FlaglerHealthAnywhere.com on your computer. Answer a few, quick registration questions and enter the code FlaglerHealth2020 to receive your discount. A typical wait to see one of our online doctors is usually 10 minutes, but due to high volumes, you will experience longer wait times up to one hour.

COVID-19 Test Price

Thank you for taking an interest in your health care costs. In accordance with the CARES act, the Flagler Health+ price for the COVID-19/Coronavirus diagnostic test is $99.00 (effective March 31st, 2020). Your health insurance plan may cover some of this lab cost, depending on your co-pay and deductible. The price shown on this site is the gross charge for the test and does not indicate final out-of-pocket costs. Please contact your insurance company to find out more information on what your cost will be after insurance.

Patients, please note that this price is only for the COVID-19 test. Other tests and screening may be ordered and provided at the same time of service, which will affect a total bill for this service. For questions, please contact one of our patient financial advocates at 904-819-4523.
