COVID-19: What You Should Know

We understand that people in our community are naturally concerned about COVID-19. The team at Flagler Health+ is here to meet all your healthcare needs. We have navigated through the COVID-19 pandemic together and we remain vigilant about ensuring the safety of our staff and patients. Surgeries and procedures that were once postponed are now able to be addressed. We want you to know that it is safe to do so, and our award-winning surgical team will be with you every step of the way.

Information for Employers

To support area businesses as they return to full operations, Flagler Health+ and our national technology partner, Healthfully, are now offering a COVID-19 Employer Solution. The solution helps employers, employees and customers feel confident that organizations are taking the risks related to COVID-19 seriously, limit exposures, provide real-time feedback, track status, deploy contact tracing, increase access and utilize testing in the most effective way possible. Visitors

At Flagler Health+, we understand that loved ones play a very important role in a patient’s recovery. It is also our responsibility to keep our patients, staff and visitors safe. To support this, an inter-professional team of physicians, infection prevention experts and leadership at Flagler Health+ has established a revised visitor policy appropriate for the current state of COVID-19 in our community.

Beginning Monday October 12th, we are reinstating visiting hours from 8am to 8pm with the following guidelines:
• Inpatients will be allowed two visitors, over the age of 18, excluding patients in the behavioral health unit.
• All visitors must pass a COVID-19 screening, which includes a questionnaire and temperature check, and also wear a mask during their entire visit.
• Visitors and visiting hours will be modified as needed for labor and delivery patients.
• Patients arriving for surgeries and procedures will be allowed one visitor during pre-operation and recovery times.
• Emergency Department patients, except for those presenting with respiratory symptoms, will be allowed one visitor once they are placed in their treatment room.
• Special circumstances, including visitation for patients diagnosed with COVID-19, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

COVID-19 Test Price

Thank you for taking an interest in your health care costs. In accordance with the CARES act, the Flagler Health+ price for the COVID-19/Coronavirus diagnostic test is $99.00 (effective March 31st, 2020). Your health insurance plan may cover some of this lab cost, depending on your co-pay and deductible. The price shown on this site is the gross charge for the test and does not indicate final out-of-pocket costs. Please contact your insurance company to find out more information on what your cost will be after insurance.

Patients, please note that this price is only for the COVID-19 test. Other tests and screening may be ordered and provided at the same time of service, which will affect a total bill for this service. For questions, please contact one of our patient financial advocates at 904-819-4523.
