Kimberly Diaz, MHA, FACMPE

Kimberly Diaz serves as vice president, ambulatory enterprise. In this role, Ms. Diaz is responsible for planning and executing strategic initiatives to achieve programmatic growth, network strength, standardization, efficiency and a five-star consumer experience across all aspects of the UF Health St. Johns ambulatory enterprise. This includes oversight of the organization’s physician enterprise.

Diaz rejoined UF Health St. Johns after having been the executive director of operations of a large private specialty practice having full oversight of their clinic locations, call center, human resource department, and medical records.

During her first stint with UF Health St. Johns from 2018-2022, she was tasked with building and scaling the newly-launched ambulatory enterprise. Prior to that, Diaz worked and resided in Lee County, Florida, holding several health care leadership roles in various specialties, including gastroenterology, cardiology, anesthesia and ambulatory surgery. She has experience growing and facilitating new service lines and well as optimizing existing medical practices. She has almost 10 years of experience in the legal industry, which has frequently proven beneficial in many projects and initiatives.

Diaz received her Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Ohio University after having earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida Golf Coast University. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executive and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Diaz is married and has two daughters. In her spare time she enjoys harnessing her creativity and spending time with her family. She volunteers at Pie in the Sky with her oldest daughter.
