Sue Edwards, EMHA

​Sue Edwards is the Administrator for UF Health St. JohnsHome Care, a position she has held for five years. During that time, UF Health St. JohnsHome Care achieved accreditation from The Joint Commission in 2018 and saw caseload volume growth increase by 91% from 2017 to 2022. Additionally, Home Health has received no less than 4/5 stars in the CMS Patient Satisfaction Star Ratings from 2018 through 2022.

Mrs. Edwards came to UF Health St. Johnsin 2017 after serving 21 years at BayView Healthcare as Director of the Business Office, she was responsible for managing the revenue cycle for home health, a skilled nursing facility, outpatient rehabilitation, and two assisted living facilities.

She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in History and a minor in Justice Studies. In 2022, Mrs. Edwards earned her Executive Master of Health Administration from the University of North Florida.

Mrs. Edwards has lived in the community for more than 26 years, originally working for the St. Johns Welfare Federation to support the community assistance program, which helped her quickly bond with the community.

She loves dogs, attending live music events, reading, and being from New England, the Boston Red Sox.

She and her husband, John have one child.
