Patient Advocacy & Engagement

At UF Health Flagler Hospital, we understand that hospitalization can be an anxious time for patients and their families. Our Office of Patient and Family Experience is here to help make your experience the very best it can be. From providing outreach and educational resources before, during and after your stay, to helping out-of-town patients arrange accommodations, or simply offering comfort measures and spiritual support, our team is here for you.

Please think of our patient experience associates as your health care partners— offering reassurance, information, support and compassion. We will help ensure that all the needs of you and your loved ones are met, and work with your care team to exceed your expectations during every aspect of your stay. We also encourage you to sign up for our patient health portal. If you have any trouble with this at all, we are happy to assist. To reach a patient experience associate, dial 904-819-4789, or email patientfeedback@flaglerhospital.org.

If you are traveling from out of town for surgery, or have extended family who may need help locating hotels or services during your hospitalization, we are happy to assist. Please contact our concierge service at 904-819-4789.

Spiritual Care

Our patient and family experience office also includes a team of chaplains, who generously volunteer their time at UF Health Flagler Hospital, recognizing that when a physical health issue occurs, people are often affected spiritually as much as they are physically. UF Health Flagler Hospital believes in the treatment of the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. You can learn more about our spiritual care offerings by clicking here.

Compliments & Concerns

The best time to address any concern is when it happens. If you have questions about your care, your service or even your food, ask questions of your care team immediately. We expect every member of the UF Health Flagler Hospital team to exhibit our core values of Quality, Service, Integrity and Innovation to ensure every patient and their loved ones have the best possible experience during their stay. If you are not comfortable discussing concerns with your care team, please contact the office of patient and family experience by calling 904-819-4789, or emailing patientfeedback@flaglerhospital.org.
