Don Crist, BS, MSHA, RRT

Don Crist is the Vice President of Operations and Procurement for UF Health St. Johns. In this role he is the executive team leader in the development and execution of the vision and strategy for the new UF Health Flagler Hospital Durbin Park, which is currently under construction. He served as Executive Supply Chain leader and provided oversight for clinical services operations.

Mr. Crist has been a part of the UF Health St. Johnsteam for more than 42 years, having come to the organization in 1980 as Administrator of Clinical Services, where he was responsible for construction oversight of the planning and development of the current UF Health Flagler Hospital facility, including the medical office buildings and imaging facilities.

He was promoted to Administrator, Clinical and Technical Services where he had administrative responsibilities for the successful operation of clinical services including Cardiopulmonary Services, Cardiac Catheterization labs, Respiratory Care Services, Cardiac Rehab, Neurology, Imaging Services, and Laboratory Services.

Mr. Crist began his career in health care at Respiratory Care Services, Inc. where he was a registered respiratory therapist.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Science and Respiratory Care from the University of Central Florida and his Master of Science in Health Administration from Warren National University.

Mr. Crist serves on the boards of Partners Cooperative, Inc. and Flagler Whitehall Radiation Center. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golf, baseball, college sports, and amateur radio. He and his wife, Lori, have three children and six grandchildren.
