Murray S. (”Skip”) Marsh, Jr. Joins UF Health Flagler Hospital as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

UF Health Flagler Hospital is pleased to announce that Skip Marsh, MBA, CPA, FACHE has been appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Skip joins Flagler from Randolph Health in Asheboro North Carolina where he has served as CFO since 2012. Randolph Health is a managed entity of Cone Health, a $1.6 billion integrated finance and delivery system, which is managed by Carolinas Healthcare System, a $6 billion dollar organization. While at Randolph, Skip led the formation of Piedmont Integrated Health, a Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), and was integral in the development of a new strategic plan. Prior to joining Randolph, Skip worked in progressively responsible leadership positions in finance and health care for nearly 30 years, including posts at Price Waterhouse and Warren General Hospital.

Skip is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In Asheboro, he served on the boards of the Asheboro Airport Authority, Randolph County Economic Development Corporation, Asheboro / Randolph Chamber of Commerce, Randolph Vocational Industries and Piedmont Integrated Health.

My twenty seven years as a community hospital CFO is a nice fit for UF Health Flagler Hospital and the community,” added Skip. “The bulk of my career has been focused on maximizing the financial health of community hospitals and health systems in innovative ways that advance their important role and mission. My wife Karla and I appreciate the warm and family-focused atmosphere of Flagler and St Augustine.”

Skip has earned both his Bachelor’s degree and his MBA from the State University of New York Buffalo. He is a licensed private pilot and also enjoys skeet shooting, golf, travel, history and the arts.
