Childbirth Education Classes include topics such as:

• Hospital registration and procedures
• Signs and stages of labor
• Coping mechanisms and pain management
• Delivery and postpartum
• Newborn care, and
• Lactation

The classes are taught by Registered Nurses that work in our own Labor and Delivery unit. We recommend that you take these classes after you enter your third trimester (28 weeks). You are welcome to bring one partner with you to class, and the cost is per couple.

The Childbirth Preparation class will be located in the 8th floor classroom from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

You may park in lot A by the ER and come in the main entrance.

Please bring a yoga mat or blanket with you, as well as a small pillow. We will have multiple breaks throughout the day and a lunch break from noon - 1 pm . You can bring your lunch, eat in the cafeteria, or leave to get something.
