St. Augustine, Fla. October 5, 2021 – Dr. Caitlin Bass, a board-certified internal medicine physician, has joined Flagler Health+’s rapidly growing network of Primary Care providers. She is now scheduling appointments for new patients at the Primary Care office located at 201 Health Park Blvd, suite 215, on the campus of UF Health Flagler Hospital.

Dr. Bass completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hospice and palliative care at Florida State University College of Medicine’s Sarasota campus.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Bass to Flagler Health+,” said Dr. David Rice, Chief Physician Executive. “She is a valued addition to our internal medicine team and will contribute a strong background in compassionate treatment and care.”

Dr. Bass earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Dutch Caribbean and her undergraduate degree in Anthropology and Religion from the University of Florida. She is an advocate for women’s health and an ally to the LGBTQ community.

Dr. Bass was honored with the Domenick Cover, MD, Memorial Humanism in Medicine Award in 2019 for consistently demonstrating the qualities of compassion, respect, integrity and service in the practice of medicine. An accomplished writer, Dr. Bass has had several articles published in publications including the Washington Post and KevinMD.
