UF Health St. JohnsPartners with Positive Presence Global to Connect Those in Need with Vital Mental Health Services

St. Augustine, Fla. December 13, 2021 – Care Connect+, a social health organization led by Flagler Health+, has announced a partnership with Positive Presence Global (PPG) to provide health coaching, mentoring, and life coaching to the ‘Next Generation’ (pre-teens, teens, and young adults) nationwide.

With the announcement, UF Health Care Connectbecomes the exclusive non-profit partner for PPG, the largest life coaching company for the Next Generation in the United States.

“This partnership marks a significant advancement in how supporting the mental health of our nation’s youth is being addressed,” said Jason Barrett, President and CEO of Flagler Health+. “I am impressed by the proactive approach that PPG makes in identifying potential issues in advance and taking the preventative steps that will have a positive impact on the lives of many young people.”

The partnership allows both organizations to share the resources required to ensure that youth in need have access to the vital resources available to them. Both organizations will serve to refer those in need to each other based on what services are required.

Michelle Marie King, the founder of PPG said the partnership with Care Connect+ “opens up doors for the next generation and their families to get access to the tools and support they need to lead healthy, confident, and radiant lives.” King continues, “In today’s society, for so many, it feels like darkness prevails. The mission of PPG is to provide all teenagers and young adults the support that they desire without any of the barriers and limitations of traditional, face-to-face coaching services. PPG’s exclusively virtual presence allows them to uniquely pair mentor-coaches to mentees around the globe to ensure a perfect partnership. Services offered include weekly or bi-weekly one-on-one mentor-coaching along with a personal Positive Presence online coaching board, 24-hour access to a private coach, and a personally curated library of tools and resources.

Since 2016, PPG has been at the forefront of implementing, facilitating and educating the next generation and their families on positive, proactive practices to mental health.

UF Health Care Connectserves as a linking agent within the community and was created to align residents in need with available services. By having the resources easily accessible through a central access point, UF Health Care Connectincreases the coordination and access of available resources.
