UF Health St. Johns Remains Open for Patient Care As Tropical Storm Nicole Approaches South Florida

St. Augustine, Fla. (November 9, 2022) – As Northeast Florida continues to prepare for potential impacts from Tropical Storm Nicole, all UF Health St. Johnslocations, including St. Augustine-based UF Health Flagler Hospital, will remain open to serve the community.

All UF Health St. Johnslocations and services will operate during regular business hours on Wednesday, November 9, and Friday, November 11. Most locations and services will operate as usual on Thursday, with some modifications as outlined below.

All decisions have been made based on the storm’s current track, and if the expected effects on our region change, these plans may be revised.

UF Health Flagler Hospital – The hospital will remain open 24 hours a day and visitation hours will remain 8 am until 8 pm.

OUTPATIENT SURGERIES AND ELECTIVE PROCEDURES – All cases will continue as scheduled at UF Health Flagler Hospital and Flagler Surgery Center.

IMAGING – Flagler Imaging Center on the UF Health Flagler Hospital campus will continue regular business hours on Thursday, opening at 7:30 am. Imaging services at our MuraBella and Nocatee locations will open at 8 am on Thursday.

LABORATORIES – All UF Health St. JohnsLab locations (UF Health Flagler Hospital, 312, MuraBella) will delay opening until 8 am on Thursday.

AMBULATORY OFFICES -UF Health St. Johnsambulatory offices (Health Villages, Primary Care, Orthopedic Specialists, etc.) will remain open for regular business hours for the remainder of the week. Some locations may need to consolidate their practices, and patients will be notified directly of any changes to their appointments.

CARE FAST+ URGENT CARE, HOME HEALTH, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH – Operations remain business as usual.
