Experiencing an urgent mental or behavioral health crisis can be a frightening and confusing time in someone’s life. The UF Health Behavioral Resource Center at UF Health Flagler Hospital is a supportive, compassionate place for youth and adults to access:

  • mental health crisis assessment
  • brief interventions
  • referral services
  • care coordination
  • help establish a long-term connection with a provider

A team of professionals from the Behavioral Health Resource Center work together to give each client the most personalized approach to obtaining mental health services. Our dedicated team guides clients throughout the process to clarify questions, remove barriers, and connect clients to social health services, if needed.

Working with our partners in the community, the Behavioral Health Resource Center aims to reduce unnecessary Baker Act admissions, increase diversion from the criminal justice system, and reduce recidivism to hospitals while providing those in mental health crisis a supportive and approachable environment to receive support.
