Erika Cunningham-Regis, DNP, MBA, RN, CPHRM, CPHQ, CPPS

Erika Cunningham-Regis, Executive Director, First Coast Health Alliance​Erika Cunningham-Regis is the Executive Director of the First Coast Health Alliance. In this position, she is responsible for the leadership and direction in the development and execution of Government and Commercial ACO models.

She joined UF Health St. Johnsafter holding a variety of roles with Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Fla., including most recently as Quality Director, where she had oversight of Patient Safety, Risk Management, Clinical Research, Guest Services, Infection Prevention, and Medical Staff. She also held the positions of Patient Safety and Risk Director, and Risk Manager while at OPMC. Dr. Cunningham-Regis started her career in health care at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Fla., as Registered Nurse, Cardiac Care Unit and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit before being promoted to Clinical Quality Improvement Nurse.

As an undergraduate, she earned her Associate Degree in Arts from the University of North Florida before transferring to Jacksonville University and earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Dr. Cunningham-Regis continued her education at JU, earning her Master of Nursing Science and Master of Business Administration degrees before completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.

Dr. Cunningham-Regis was twice nominated for the prestigious DAISY Award, which is awarded to nurses who exhibit extraordinary compassion and skill.

She is married to Patrick and enjoys reading, cooking, baking, hiking, being outdoors, and crafting.
